    • Sony Ericsson today announced the highly anticipated XPERIA X10 Unlocked Android-based smartphone platform UX new interface, a helmet wireless stereo headset and a number of very nice features. Contrary to the rumor that spoiled the announcement, the X10 running Android XPERIA Donut (version 1.6) and not Lightning (version 2.0). The long list of features includes a large 262k color 4-inch WVGA (480 x 854 pixels) TFT touchscreen, 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon QSD8250, 1 GB of internal memory, microSD card slot and an 8GB card included with the device. The camera on the X10 has 8.1 megapixels and packs a 16x digital zoom, autofocus, face detection, geo-tagging, image stabilizer and video and light, touch and sound of the video recording. Other features include a 3.5 mm audio jack, Micro USB, stereo Bluetooth with A2DP, USB, WiFi, A-GPS, media player, automatic rotation and control of movement.
